From March 2 to 8, Cui Yonghui, Secretary of the Xiamen Municipal CPC Committee, led a delegation on an official visit to Singapore and Japan. The mission aimed to implement Xi Jinping’s diplomatic vision and advance the key consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and the leaders of both nations. During the visit, the delegation engaged with 16 multinational corporations and 4 trade and investment promotion agencies. Through intensive business negotiations and project matchmaking, a series of cooperative agreements were reached, culminating in multiple signed projects.

In Japan, Secretary Cui visited the Tokyo headquarters of Marubeni Corporation and the Osaka headquarters of Hanwa Co., Ltd. Witnessed by Secretary Cui and Hanwa’s Senior Advisor Hironari Furukawa, Zheng Yongda, General Manager of C&D Group, and Yoichi Nakagawa, President of Hanwa, signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties pledged to enhance strategic coordination and deepen collaboration in global supply chain operations for bulk commodities.

Expanding into the Japanese market marks a critical step in C&D Inc.’s globalization strategy.
